#TITLE#Common Restrictions To Realizing One’s Full Capability#/TITLE# by Thelma B. Mclaughlin Whenever the Olympics takes place, the same thing happens to me. Following each high jump, cartwheel, or swimming lap, I am frequently astounded by what mankind is able to do. Seeing someone pull off an impressive act is really an exceptional sight. This phenomenon may not only happen during the Olympics, either. There are everyday people, like you and me, doing the extraordinary – in business, sports, music and the kinds of things found in the Guinness World Records. An individual’s labor and the outcome are the quantification of human accomplishment. While performance itself is only an abstract concept, it needs measurable events or actions. Typically there are three steps to performance: a goal is set, performance is rehearsed and adjusted based on predetermined standards, after which performance is documented. Mankind’s accomplishment, the sum total of end products, happens to be connected with mankind’s capability. Why is it that each year, folks outshine their precursors’ extraordinary achievements? Technical innovation has much to do with it; the race car, for one, has been modified since its inception to be speedier, more secure, and to accomplish more. But even disregarding applied science, mankind’s accomplishments have gotten better throughout the ages. In my opinion, the cause for this is the inspiration that comes from setting one’s sights on an objective, and keeping at it until that objective is completed. Human potential is something with no definite limits that can only be defined by an individual founded on natural advantages, such as weight and body type in certain sports, and the extent to which that individual is willing to develop his individual skill. Everyone has the wherewithal to do whatever they want, which may be fulfilled to various measures NXIVM and Executive Success Programs. This promise is available to everyone, but only the folks who overcome their restrictions will be able to fulfill their promise. Limits imposed by ourselves are the typical sort of limits that stop us from achieving what we could otherwise achieve. These limitations are typically founded in an individual’s psychological profile. I feel that if someone can get beyond these restraints, they will be much more likely to be able to fulfill their promise. I recently heard of an excellent program that explores human potential, and helps individuals better their performance in all areas of life through measurement and strategy. It’s the Executive Success Programs, where training is organized all across North America. A friend of mine says that after implementing some of the strategies he learned in the course, he was better able to develop his potential and increase his performance as VP of his company, and as a father to his two children.
